Au CHSLD de la MRC d’Acton, le 23 février 2019, est décédé à l`âge de 80 ans, avec sa famille à ses côtés, monsieur Dennis Blanchard, fils de feu Frederick Blanchard et de feu Fabiola Octeau et époux de Louise Dumaine, demeurant à Acton Vale.

Outre son épouse, le défunt laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Richard (Christine) de Glocester RI USA, Joanne (James) de Johnston RI USA, ses petits-enfants : Jacqueline, Joseph et un arrière-petit-fils Michael. Le défunt laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs : Arline Proulx et Suzanne Blanchard de Smithfield RI USA et Claire Raymond de Drummondville et il était le frère de feu Roger Blanchard et de feu Gloria Paquette ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces et autres parents et amis. Monsieur Dennis Blanchard a été incinéré au Crématoire Lalime.
Dans sa profession, il était le chauffeur de camion commercial pendant 35 ans et membre du syndicat des 251 membres de la section Teamsters. Il était également membre des Chevaliers de Colomb.

La famille de monsieur Blanchard recevra vos condoléances le vendredi 8 mars 2019 de 19 h à 22 h et le samedi 9 mars à 9 h au Complexe funéraire Lalime & Boisvert, 1166 rue Saint-André, Acton Vale. Les funérailles seront célébrées ce même samedi à 10 h30 en l’église Saint-André d’Acton Vale.

Dennis Joseph Blanchard (80) of Upton QC died on february 23, 2019 wiyh his family by his side. He was the son of the late Frederick and Fabiola (Octeau) Blanchard. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Louise Dumaine Blanchard, two children, Richard Blanchard and his wife Christine of Glocester RI US, and Joanne Blanchard Cripe and her husband James of Johnston RI US. Two grandchildren Jacqueline & Joseph Blanchard, one great grandchildren Michael. He also leaves behind 3 sisters, Arline Proulx and Suzanne Blanchard of Smithfield RI US and Claire Raymond of Drummondville QC. He was the brother of the late Roger Blanchard and Gloria Paquette.
In his profession he was a commercial Truck Driver 35 years and a Teamsters local 251 Union Member. He was also a Knights of Columbus member.
